Fenders are shock absorbers placed along the sides of boats so as to act as a buffer when hitting against other vessels or docks. Fenders are designed to absorb the impact without transferring it to the hull.
Coir Fenders are commonly made in spherical or cylindrical shape. The inner material for the fender is made in the required shape from coir yarn, rope or fiber tied together tightly. Knotted coir rope is used to from the outer shell. Fenders are available with steel attachment hooks as well.
