Coconut Fibre / Coir Fibre
Techno Exports is the leading manufacturer and exporter of Coconut Fibre or Coir Fibre from India. We are manufacturing and exporting high quality Coir Fibre mainly to Europe. Being the manufacturer of Coir Fibre, we have fine control over the quality of the Coconut Fibre we offer.
Coconut Fibre, also known as Coir, is extracted from the husk of Coconut. Therefore, they are 100% natural, sustainable and bio-degradable fibre. The coconut husk is wetted and crushed in defibering units to separate Coco Peat and Coconut Fibre. The Coir Fibre thus extracted is then dried in sun. Next, the dried fibre is compressed to bales of 115 to 120 Kg in hydraulic presses. We can load around 20 to 21 MT of such Coir Fibre bales per 40ft HC.
Coir fibre is primarily used as a raw material in the manufacturing of Rubberised Coir, Coir Needle Felt, Garden Articles and Mattress Cushions. Our production process are optimised to make sure that the fibre bales are free from metal particles and stones. We follow strict quality checking process at every stage of the coconut fibre processing. Hence, we can ensure that the coir we supply are free from husk pieces and other impurities. Consequently, our customers enjoy trouble free production and minimum wastage.

Advantages of Coconut Fibre
- Firstly, Coir Fibre is extracted from Coconut Husk. Therefore, it is 100% natural and eco-friendly.
- Secondly, being manufactured from an agricultural by-product, it is sustainable
- Thridly, Coir fibre is basically acidic in nature. Hence, they are naturally resistant to fungal growth and rot
- Coir fibre is basically an excellent thermal insulator. Hence coconut fibre finds its usage in manufacturing of products requiring good thermal insulation capacity.
- Besides being a natural fibre, Coir fibre is one of the strongest fibre in the planet. Hence, they exhibit very good tensile strength.
- Further, Coir fibre is static-free in nature
- Also, lumps of Coir fibre can retain high level of moisture. Consequently, they find their application in areas of cultivation as well.
